Henry wore a red face mask with ‘I love China’ written on it when visiting China, which Korean netizens worried was a sign that he was taking his fame in Korea to find a new career in China. Some left comments like, “He built up all his fame in Korea just to use it to make money in China”, “I suppose it’s a wonder why he hasn’t left for China already”, “I don’t want to see him in Korean varieties anymore”, and “I don’t think even promotional ambassadors for certain cities would go as far as to wear a mask like this”.
