1. [+942, -62] They’ve achieved all that they’ve wanted to so it’s about time for rest. They also have the issue of army enlistments looming over them. They deserve to just focus on what they individually want for now.

BTS? They have Korean fans because they have a good group image with good songs but… solos? It’s obvious what’s going to happen. I’m personally a Jin fan but acting…? It’s so obvious to the eye where this is going to go down…

[+73, -22] V said that he’s had to hide his true self while participating in group activities, but it seems to me that he’s had no problem showing his true colors all this time… by acting embarrassed to deal with his fans at fan signings, purposely mussing up his hair and looking at them as if he’s sick of them, by calling out GD during his relationship scandal. I’m not quite sure what he means by what he said.

8. [+51, -4] It’s clear they’re suffering from burn out. It’s understandable that they’ve burned up everything that they’ve had to maintain a top position for years now. They do need a break, especially leader RM who probably shouldered the brunt of the pressure.
9. [+45, -1] Wow, seems like Hybe’s true owner is not Bang Shi Hyuk but BTS… News like this makes me feel ‘good riddance’ if I think of the years that Hybe has spent ignoring BTS’ needs.
10. [+45, -3] The group is pretty much running on its last legs. Once they get back from the army, the members will start having different thoughts about their futures, and I bet a few will start to reconsider renewing their contracts.

They could’ve just spun it as the members leaving for army enlistments and focusing on solo activities in that time but they made a bomb of an announcement with a hiatus and caused all of this. Not only did their stocks get cut in half but now their biggest consumers, the Japanese, are up in arms that they’re not coming back to Japan. Hybe really has a knack for making things worse than they have to be.
